1. POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews, with its seat in Warsaw, ul. Anielewicza 6, 00-157 Warsaw (hereinafter: the "Museum") is the administrator of the website www.whatscooking.art.

2. The user of the website www.whatscooking.art (hereinafter: the "User") declares that he has the copyright to the recipe made available by him, i.e. the content and attached photos (hereinafter: the "Recipe") to the extent enabling the granting of a license to the Museum in accordance with provisions described below, and the use of the Provision by the Museum on the terms set out below will not infringe the rights of third parties.

3. Upon sending the Recipe, the User grants the Museum a non-exclusive license to the Recipe, without territorial restrictions (hereinafter: the "License"), in the following fields of use:

a) recording and reproducing the Provision – producing copies of the Provision by any technique, including printing, reprographic, magnetic recording and digital technology;

b) making the Recipe available to the public by placing it in the Museum's collection on the website www.whatscooking.art in such a way that everyone can have access to it at a place and time chosen by them, taking into account point 7 below, and in a way that allows you to download the Recipe as a pdf file, print it, as well as further sharing via social media or e-mail.

4. The User allows the Museum to exercise dependent rights to the Provision and transfers to the Museum the right to authorize the exercise of derivative rights to the Provision – in the scope covering any development of the Provision (including translations, changes, alterations, abbreviations, adaptations, combining with other works and continuations) ) and the management and use of studies in the fields of use indicated in point 3 above.

5. The Museum will mark the Recipe available on the website www.whatscooking.art as follows – with the initials and title of the Recipe provided by the User.

6. The User undertakes not to perform any activities resulting in the termination of the granted License. If the User intends to transfer the proprietary copyrights to a third party, he will be obliged to inform the Museum about this intention.

7. The license is granted for a specified period, from the moment the Recipe Museum is made available to January 1, 2026.

8. The Museum reserves the right to make the final decision as to the publication of the recipe on the website www.whatscooking.art. The Museum is not obliged to disseminate or use the Recipe.

9. In the event of claims against the Museum for infringement of copyright to the Provision in connection with the Museum's use of the Provision in a manner consistent with the above provisions, the User will be obliged to cover the costs of court proceedings, including in particular the costs of legal representation and court costs, or costs. amicable settlement of the matter or pay the awarded damages or cover the damage suffered by the Museum.
